We have three errors in ‘Contributions of Hepatic Insulin Resistance and Islet β-Cell Dysfunction to the Blood Glucose Spectrum in Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus,’ these are as follows:
The Fig. 1 incorrectly indicated that 1-hour plasma glucose during the OGTT was included in the analysis. In fact, only plasma glucose levels at 0, 30, 120, and 180 minutes were used in the present study. A corrected version of Fig. 1 is attached.
The following sentence in the RESULTS section was incorrect:
“The patients were divided into four groups according to the quartile of ISSI2, and ANOVA test showed that the FBG, 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 3 hours post-load blood glucose of the patients elevated with the increase of ISSI2 (all P for trend <0.001).”
It should be corrected to:
“The patients were divided into four groups according to the quartile of ISSI2, and ANOVA test showed that the FBG, 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 3 hours post-load blood glucose of the patients decreased with the increase of ISSI2 (all P for trend <0.001).”
In Supplementary Table 1, the unit of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was incorrectly reported. The correct unit is: mL/min/1.73 m²
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. These corrections do not alter the main conclusions of the original article.
