An error was found in the following published article: Park SW. Intestinal and hepatic niemann-pick c1-like 1. Diabetes Metab J 2013;37(4):240-8. doi: 10.4093/dmj.2013.37.4.240

The published Fig. 1 is to explain the expression and role of NPC1L1 in the intestine and liver. The arrows of NPC1L1 and ABCG5/ABCG8 in the liver were reversed by an inadvertent mistake. A corrected version of Fig. 1 is attached.
