Reviewer board members are recommended by the editor-in-chief, associated editors and appointed by the publisher. The reviewer board members are selected for experts in the field or outside experts, and their role is to review the submitted manuscripts fairly and professionally. All reviewer board members are classified according to their major as
1) Drug/Regimen, 2) Technology/Device, 3) Type 1 Diabetes, 4) Complication, 5) Metabolic Risk/Epidemiology, 6) Cardiovascular Risk/Epidemiology, 7) Lifestyle, 8) Genetics, 9) Pathophysiology, 10) Basic Research. If manuscripts from review board members are submitted, it is also treated through same process with other manuscripts. However, those authors should not be involved in the review process
